Imeko Killings : House Of Rep Member, Hon. Olaifa Calls Security Agencies For Safety

Federal house of representatives member Honourable Jimoh Aremu Olaifa representing Egbado North/Imeko  Afon Federal Constituency  of Ogun State in the ninth assembly has called the security agencies to come to their rescue in Imeko Afon local government area.

The Lawmaker disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital on Wednesday.

Olaifa maintained that after several alarms and condemnation of incessant killings of his Constituents from either Egbado North or Imeko Afon Local Government and yet, another set of casualties were recorded on Sunday evening where three persons (Femi Bara, John Taiwo, and Tunde Taiwo) were killed in Imeko with the motorcycle, they rode on, taken away.

The Lawmaker who is of the opinion that whether it was by the usual Fulani killer - Herdsmen or armed robbers, the undisputable fact is that another set of lives were lost and that the people and their property are just not safe because there seems to be a total collapse of the entire security architecture.

He therefore calls on the security agencies to come out clear as to their perceived incapacitation and what could be done to assist them in securing the lives of our people in porous border areas of Yewa North and Imeko Afon Local Government Areas of Ogun State.

The visibly worried lawmaker concluded with an heartfelt sympathy and condolence message to the families of the deceased and the entire good people of Imeko Afon. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the innocent ones.
