Nigerian players transfer report

The summer transfer window is not opened yet, but some Nigerian players have been on the move ahead of the new season.

While there hasn’t been any major move like the one that took Victor Osimhen to Napoli last season, there’ve been some surprising transfers.

Top on the list is Emmanuel Dennis transfer from Club Brugge to Watford. The 23-year-old have agreed personal terms with the newly-promoted Premier League side.

It’s a deal no one saw coming, but it offers the Super Eagles star a fresh start after a turbulent season. Another move that caught the eye is Tyronne Ebuehi’s move to Venezia.

The Super Eagles right-back is expected to join the new Serie A team on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy permanently.

Ebuehi will undergo his medical on Thursday before signing the loan deal. Meanwhile, Victor Moses has joined Spartak Moscow on a permanent deal after spending the just-concluded season on a loan deal from Chelsea.

And finally, Slavia Prague have completed the signing of former Nigerian U-23 star Ubong Moses Ekpai on a three-year deal.

Ekpai joins Peter Olayinka, who is the other Nigerian star at the club.
