The aggrieved residents, while speaking to our correspondent, alleged that Mr kola installed himself as the king without the authority of the State government.

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Sagamu, the Otunba Akogun of Ibido land Adesola Emmanuel Adetunji described kola as an impostor, whom the the community would not recognise as  their  Oba.

According to him,Kola has been parading himself for the past three years since the Obaship position is vacant in the community.

"We wanted to select another person in which the family of Solomade is next to be the king out of the four ruling houses in the community.

"We are not against him as a person but imposing himself as the Oba of this community, we say no and we the community do not recognize him.

"The government has taken a step and a letter has been written to the Akarigbo of Remoland and a report has been sent to the governor and the commissioner for local government and chieftancy affairs .

"As I'm speaking to you that position is still vacant and for him to come into this place that's illegal occupation of the palace.

"He was also accused of selling the ancestral land of the people  in the community" he submitted.

An Elder in community Mr E.O Osho said the community leaders have been warning him to move out of the palace for a long time but he refused.
