Shote condoles GNI over mother’s death


Member National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogun State, Barr. Taiwo Shote        has commiserated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Prince Gboyega Isiaka better known as GNI, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Adijat Isiaka whose death was announced on Monday.


In a statement from Shote's media offfice on Tuesday, the Ijebu Ode born politician described the news of Alhaja Isiaka's death as “a rude shock and great loss not only to the Isiakas but Ogun state in general, given her invaluable contributions to the cause of humanity.”


According to the PDP chieftain, the deceased was a quintessential mother, a pious Muslim and community leader who devoted her lifetime to the service of God and humanity.


”Words are insufficient to condole one on a mother’s death, but I do urge you to take solace in the life that she lived exemplary life.


”I have no doubt that mama’s impact and reach will continue to be felt through her children and grandchildren. May her sins be forgiven.


”On behalf of my family and myself, I offer you our deep condolences,” he said.


Shote prayed the Almighty God to grant Prince Gboyega Isiaka and the rest of the Isiaka’s family the grace to endure the irreparable loss.




Alhaja Isiaka died on Monday at the age of 80 after a brief illness. She is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
