Confirmed: Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho rejoins the Queens

The Nigerian shotstopper spent a few months on loan with the GSP Stadium landlords and makes a sensational return hours after cancelling his contract at Apoel

Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has rejoined Omonia Nicosia, one of the most popular and the most historically successful football clubs in Cyprus.

Uzoho had momentarily become a free agent after his former club Apoel Nicosia announced on transfer deadline day that the 22-year-old had paid to have his contract terminated. He had two years left on his contract with the Legend.

But the former Deportivo la Coruna shot-stopper has taken to his social media account to declare his return to the Queens.

“Happy to be back home,” Uzoho wrote on Instagram.
