Ogun: Orile Oko Traditional Council pays congratulatory visit to Remo LG Chair, Odunsi

The Lisa and Adele Oloko of Orile Oko, High Chief Olakunle Olalekan today  led other chiefs and Baales to pay a congratulatory visit to the Chairman of Remo North Local Government in Ogun State, prince Dapo  Odunsi.

The council congratulated the chairman  on his victory at the just concluded  Local Government polls.

They assured him that they will continue to support him and cooperate with him.

The Adele while Speaking on behalf of his people told Odunsi  to always carry members of the community along in the day-to-day running of the local government. 

High Chief Olakunle Olalekan also appealed to the LG chairman  to facilitate electricity in the community, saying that the residents have been in black out for years.

He lauded the efforts of Governor Dapo Abiodun towards rehabilitating Orile Oko road, urging him to do more on other roads which are in deplorable condition.

He said, "We have come here to congratulate you  on your victory sir, we happy about your victory , we know your are capable to lead us well, I pray God will give you the good health and power to transform this local government. We have also come  here to discuss some vital issues with you, such as  electricity, bad roads in the community, our people are really suffering, no electricity, bad roads, but we want to thank our governor, prince Dapo Abiodun for rehabilitating some roads for us but we beg for more.  We Orile Oko Traditional Council wants to assure you that we will continue to support your administration"

While responding, the chairman of the local government appreciated the council for coming, saying that he will not disappoint them.

He promised that he will help in facilitating electricity in the community, appealing to them to be patient with the governor of the state.

Odunsi said that Abiodun is a Governor who wants comfort for his people, saying that he never forgets anyone.
