Ogun Assembly Member Bolanle Ajayi Empowers Over 450 People In her Constituency


A Lawmaker representing Yewa South State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly  Hon. Latifat Bolanle Ajayi have empowered no fewer than 450 people in her constituency with cash. 


Bolanle maintained that the gesture was an effort to give back to the people that elected her during the electioneering period in the state.


The lawmaker while giving the cash to the beneficiaries at Ilaro in Ogun State on Wednesday  equally submitted that she gave them cash to support their businesses  help them make a living for themselves and their families.


Her words "It was during my campaign have made the promise to my people that if God give me that opportunity to win the election, am going to give  back to my people , you know promise is a depth, whenever I'm moving something will be telling me I haven't fulfilled my promises to the people .


"We have this money market which was initiated by the vice president , even the amount is a token but we see some people making use of the money well so if I can give them like 20,000, 10,000 I believe they should start something better with that.


She advised to other philanthropist  to give the masses whatever they have within them so that the level of poverty would be reduce in the country.


Meanwhile the Deputy Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly Hon  Akeem Balogun appealed to the people to pray and tolerate the government of the day saying that in no distance time better things will come.


"We are all witnesses to the Global Pandemic problem we are all facing and that as affected the economy in the world , our people are always apprehensive, they want the dividend of democracy from the government , we appeal to our people that they should pray and tolerate this government in no distance time better things will come"


A councillor in the local government honourable olugbemide Emmanuel  also commended hon. Latifat for putting smile on the faces of the people.


The councillor said the gesture will assist the beneficiaries in supporting their businesses and everyone of them will be happy at the end.


"The people who voted for her didn't lost their vote during his electioneering campaign she told the  people what she was going to do and that is exactly what she has started.


" With this empowerment, people won't be able to knock on anybody's door they will be comfortable at their various home and feed their nation , hon. Latifat Bolanle Ajayi is a good representation" he submitted.


One of the beneficiaries Alhaja Kudirat Opeloyeru from ward 2 of the local government said she is very happy for what hon. Latifat have done and also call other notable individuals to emulate the same thing.
