NGO gives free medical checkup to 50 widows in Ogun

A non-governmental organization in Ogun State" Hope for New life" has given free medical check up to 50 widows in Abule Ojere in Abeokuta,Ogun State.

According to the CEO Chief Mrs Bolatito Adeonojobi during the her presentation of some gifts to the vulnerables said she was elated to support the needy most especially the widows.

The CEO who is a retired help them check their BP, talk to them on their health, what to do about it.

"I have this mindset that when we join our hands together we can put a joyful smile on their faces and also make this world a better place especially for the needy, and by his grace, we have reach out to needy most especially the widows.

"The organization is opened globally for all those who are interested to render humanitarian  services to the underprivileged.

“We know that the government cannot meet all the needs of the people, hence we have in our little ways have decided to complement the efforts of the Ogun State Government led by His Excellency Prince Governor Dapo Abiodun.”

One of the beneficiaries Mrs Modupe Oladehinde appreciated the CEO saying that she has learnt a lot of lessons from the program most especially how to live a better life.

"My advice to the government is that they should help us especially we the vulnerables. I'm working as a farmer before but now i can't work anymore because of my sight.

"Also another beneficiary Mrs lara said"  I'm very happy for the kind gesture, my advice for the state government is to is to provide for the needy in other to eradicate poverty"she said.
