Ogun : Over 2000 residents in Owode set to benefit from free eye project

No fewer than two thousand residents in Owode Local Government area of Ogun State are set to benefit from Olumide Jones eye project.

Olumide Jones who is a cheiftain of the People Democratic Party ( PDP) and also the coordinator of "Olumide Jones Eye Project" disclosed this during a phone call with our correspondent in Abeokuta.

The Coordinator confirmed that the project will come up on 25th of November 2021 in Owode town.

He also said that the project is expected to proceed as usual; free Eye tests for all,   Free Eye glasses and drugs as prescribed by the medical team and free Cataract operations for the first 500 people that will be diagnosed of Cataract.

It is expected that Over 2000 people will be examined medically and given free drugs and glasses.

This program will be the fifth after similar programs had been carried out in other four local government departments ( Abeokuta south and North, Ewekoro and Odeda).
