Ogun NCEVECC trains members on implementation of ethics

The National Community Ethics and Values Environmental Compliance Corps (NCEVECC) has trained its members on implementation of ethics and also assisted Ogun State in getting rid of open defecation and improper dressings.

The Deputy Commandant of the Corps in Ogun State Matthew Fakolujo said there are new things that have been added to the activities of the corp.

He disclosed this during an interview with newsmen in Abeokuta Ogun State on Wednesday.

According to him "we have to keep them abreast,we are starting with the senior officers first before it get down to the junior ones.

Fakolujo said he sees challenges as opportunity adding that it will help to know where to step up.

He stressed that the Corps have been advocating to the people of Ogun State in other to keep the environment safe , not to do indiscriminate dumping or open defication.

He explained further that they have good relationship with the Ogun State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA) to help keep the environment safer and cleaner.  

The State training Commander Sanni Usman stressed that the training will enlighten the officer so that they can be equipped with knowledge, skills and ability to increase the creativity of social organization .

"We want to keep them abreast to face whatever challenges in the Community" he said.
