Ogun Peace keeping Committee in close door meeting with security Chiefs to engage in dispute resolution

The Ogun State Peace Keeping Committee led by the Chairman, Hon. Kayode Oladele and the Secretary Prince Hadi Sani who doubles as the Special Assistant on Inter Ethnic Affairs visited the Commander of 35 Artillary Brigade, Alamala, Brig. Gen. Abdullahi Isa Mahadi and Commissioner of Police Lanre Bankole respectively in their offices for critical engagements on how to further strengthen the synergy to ensure security of lives and properties alongside peaceful coexistence across Ogun State.

The delegation included the Executive chairman of  Yewa North LG and two Assembly members, the representatives of Herders Community (MIYYETI ALLAH), Representatives of host communities among others.

Brig. Gen. Abdullahi affirmed the commitment of the Nigerian Army to effectively synergise with the Committee in order to ensure long lasting peace in all areas of the State.

CP Lanre Bankole expressed his satisfaction on the performance of the committee by ensuring swift dialogue in several communities which has drastically reduced the tendencies of conflict across the state.

Hon. Kayode Oladele stressed on the need for more effective synergy with the security chiefs to further complement the efforts of the Committee in dialogue approach to dispute resolution.

Prince Hadi Sani reaffirmed the commitment of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR on proper support to the Committee and security Agencies towards securing lives and properties across the state.
