Ex-LG boss Tella, declares intention to run for Ogun assembly race

A former caretaker chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Prince Babatunde Tella on  Monday declared his intention to run for the seat of Ogun State House of Assembly.

Tella made the declaration during a  meeting organized by the leaders of Oke- Ogun community area of the state.

He  call on the people of his community to support Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term.

The former caretaker chairman while speaking at the meeting submitted that he is joining the race because it is the turn of Oke-Ogun, adding that he will transform the community if given the chance.


He explained that his decision was based on calls by the leaders of the party and his people within his community

Tella boasted that he will not  leave any stone unturned on his decision to run for the seat of Ogun state House of Assembly.


He said '' Today i am declaring my intention to run for the seat of Ogun state house of Assembly in Abeokuta North Local Government. It is the turn of Oke-Ogun community. I need you to support me, my declaration is based on my conviction that it is doable if we all work together as a team. I am sure that on this decision I will not lose out ,God's willing, he concluded


He also used the occasion to  call on the people of Abeokuta North Local Government, especially the Oke-Ogun community, to support Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term,  seeing what our amiable Governor has been doing across the State which are legacy projects.
