Engr. Dada Kolawole Oduntan has clinched the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge the party’s candidate of Ogun Central Senatorial District.
Oduntan got 173 votes to defeat his rivals, Olumide Jones and Olumide Aderinokun.
The primary election was held at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Abeokuta.
While speaking to our reporter Oduntan said that if he eventually win the election in 2023 ,he will enhance agricultural development in Ogun Central, infrastructural development and ensure rural areas are provided facilities that would be attractive to investors.
The primary which had in attendance the INEC officials, Nigeria Police Force, DSS, Civil Defence and pressmen was conducted and the delegates from the six (6) local governments in Ogun Central.
At the end of the primary election, the following results emerged:
