As part of his effort to balance Peaceful Coexistence and confidence building across Ogun State, the Peace Keeping Committee led by the Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor on Inter Ethnic Affairs, Prince Hadi Sani visited Yewa North and Abeokuta North of two different Senatorial Zones
Taking Precautionary measures and minimizing vacuum of communication remains the critical element for sustainable peace in our society.
The delegation visited Yewa North of Ogun West senatorial district for a stakeholders engagement to map out precautionary measures to mitigate the occurrence of seasonal crises and other related criminal tendencies in YEWA axis of the state.
The critical stakeholders includes the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Yewa North LG, The Secretary of Ogun State Market Board, Mr Sanusi, Representatives of Defence Intelligent Agency, DSS, AMOTEKUN corps, Nigerian Police Force, PCRC Chairman, Hunters Association, the Fulani Community, Ihori community and the Host Community among others.
The representative of the Commissioner of police who is the chief host, ACP Salaudeen admonished the public to embrace diplomacy and improve peaceful coexistence in there day to day activities.
On a stretch assignment, the delegation extended the visit to the Palace of Olu Ilupeju Oke Odo Gbagura at Abeokuta North LG of Ogun Central Senatorial district where they permanently resolve an existing issue in the community and also engaged critical stakeholders on the need for tolerance and security consciousness in our communities.
The Chief host, HRM Oba Saheed Balogun appreciated His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his timely intervention on security matters across the State.
