The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has posted a new Commandant, Niyi Liad Ajibola to Ogun State.
Oxygist gathered that the new Commandant replaces Kolawole Taiwo who was the State Commandant in Ogun State for one year.
Dyke Ogbonnaya, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, noted in a statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Tuesday that the official handing and taking over had been completed by the two officers.
The new State Commandant, Commandant Niyi Liad Ajibola, appreciated everyone for the warm reception and the professional conducts exhibited by the Senior Officers during the programme.
Commandant Ajibola whetted the appetite of the State Command's Management Team by dovetailing some of his antecedents in the past years as an officer, a Senior Officer, of the Corps.
Ajibola said "These exploits of the new State Commandant will be a whole full memoir soon to be revealed as the days unfolds and as the State Commandant settles to work firmly and fully.
"It is our greatest desire that the history and the achievements of the Corps continue to improve as the State Commandants come and go so the people will continue to see and portray the officers and men of the Corps in good light amongst the committee of security agencies in the State.
"Indeed, one history has been made with its achievements and the chapter for another one opened."
