The Office of the Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor on Inter Ethnic Affairs in partnership with the Ministry of Enviroment engaged the dominant Arewa Community on how the scavenging and recycling sector should be regulated through proper profiling and data management.
The stakeholders in the sector including NASWDEN, ACWREDON and Arewa Community were duly engaged in the process of ensuring peaceful and secured business enviroment across Ogun State.
The Special Assistant on Inter Ethnic Affairs, Prince Hadi Sani posits that our population should an asset not a liability and if well regulated by 2050 Nigeria population will double to 400m.
Hadi said "His Excellency, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun is duly commited to ensuring proper population regulation for proper planning and safety as well as adequate security with peaceful coexistence across Ogun State.
The Arewa Community Sarki in council across Ogun State graced the occasion and reassured of their support towards achieving the collective goal of peaceful coexistence.
Security Agencies including Nigerian Police, DSS, NSCDC and AMOTEKUN among others preached adherence to the law of the land to further strengthen peaceful coexistence across Ogun State.
