The Commissioner also commended the governor while receiving the distinguish alumni merit award in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital .
Responding shortly after receiving the award, Dr. Odedina appreciated the distinguish Alumni for the award presentation and dedicated the award to the governor of Ogun State Prince Dr Abiodun.
According to him "we should all realize that through the effort of one person , through the determination of one person to restore MAPOLY to glory that we are celebrating today. When His Excellency came in, he made a deliberate effort to return mapoly to glory.
"I want to dedicate this award to our team leader, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun for restoring MAPOLY to glory and for making us to celebrate again.
"When the governor came in, one hundred and fifty thousand people signifies their intention to make a living through agriculture . So we are carrying along youth in the state for meaningful employment , that's why the governor gave mapoly all the support."
Other dignitaries that were honoured with the DAMA Award are :the General Manager of NTA Abeokuta, Mrs. Funmi Wakama, Tpl. Waheed Kadiri, Arc. Tokunbo Fowode, Prof. Oludele Itiola, Pastor Anthony Adeniji, Arc. S. O. S. Oladipo, Alhaji H. O. Ayoade, Evang, Seye Adeboye, Mr. Ade Adeyemi, Mr. Kunle Orekoya, Dr. Seyi Soremekun, Pastor Temitope Oduseso, Hon. Olamide Lawal, Alhaji Adediran Ashiru and Mr. Lanre Oyegbola .
