Speaking at the workshop in Abeokuta on Friday, Mr Ahmed Umar, the Sector Commander, disclosed that the essence of the workshop was to sharpen the proficiency of the intelligence operatives.
The FRSC boss explained that the training would address the challenges faced with the unit in reporting and correction of abnormally noticed in line of operation across the state.
He added that they were also being trained on how to improve the synergy with other security agencies.
"Intelligence is all about information , the information they have they share with other agencies, it may be related to traffic or not.
"The training has to do with reporting , receiving very good and critical information and if you don't evaluate it and pass it on, it becomes irrelevant," he said.
He commended the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), saying that the security outfit remained a good team player aside from being sister security agency.
"We collaborate with them in so many areas , we occasionally organise a joint special operation , where they give us support just like the other security operatives," he said.
The sector commander charged the participants to learn from the training so as to continue to exhibit utmost professionalism and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
