Over 400 Nigerians benefit from Neyo4Africa Entertainment's multi-million talent hunt show

Not less than 400 Nigerians across the nation have participated in the just concluded talent hunt, organised by the Ogun based record label,  Neyo4Africa Entertainment in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The participants who were drawn from different states of the federation exhibited talents such as singing, dancing and a host of others to qualify for the keenly contested prizes.

According to the founder of the record label Olaniyi Oyebamiji in an interview with Journalists, the rationale behind the talent hunt was to avail young and promising talents in the nation the opportunity to be heard beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Oyebamiji explained that his company was committed to bringing to stardom, talented Nigerians in the areas of music, art among others, lamenting that several promising Nigerians with enviable talents lack opportunity to be heard in the society.

To this end, he stressed that Neyo4Africa Entertainment is burdened with the responsibility to hunt for help-seeking creative minds with decent intention to get them to the state in order to be heard.

His words "The intention of starting that was to get someone with a talent that is not known, someone with a gift but yet don't have opportunity to go to a stage for a talent, couldn't have opportunity to move around. Someone that is unable to go out with a bunch of talent.

The well contested virtua talent show witnessed winners from Akwa-Ibom state with star prize of N2, 000 000, the first runner-up got  N1, 000 000 while the second runner up from Ogun state got 500, 000.

Explaining the process, Olaniyi said "Someone that is unable to go out with bunch of talent, when we have someone like that, what we do is that once you have a phone with you, just record your performance and upload it on the website, once you upload it to the website, you'll share the link to get some kind of vote from people and when we see that your content impressive enough, we are good to go.

He added "In seeing all of the performances, we saw some people that their content is very impressive. We saw TikToker , we saw good musicians, in fact our winner was a good musician. He plays almost all kinds of instruments and yet he's still not known .

"He's from Akwaibom and he participated from there, he didn't have to see us. We called him and we negotiated and then he's real. This is one of the things we are looking for.

He added "The winner got 2million naira while the first runner-up is 1million and the second runner-up is 500,000. If they want us to sign them, we'll also run all of these things for them but that's dependent on their own concept."
