He disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Saturday.
His words "We receive the death of our gubernatorial candidate with great shock. We are saddened about this bad development.
" Losing our gubernatorial candidate at this present time is a huge set back to us as a party.
"Nigeria, Ogun State and our party as lost another great Democratic whose wealth of experience is needed at this critical time of our nation.
"We will surely miss him. We condole with the family and friends.
"We pray God will give the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss. "
