2023: ACAF Vows To Mobilise Over 200,000 Votes For Adebutu, Work Against Abiodun's re-election

Ahead of next year's general elections, a forum known as the Aggrieved Councillorship Aspirants Forum (ACAF) in Ogun State has vowed to deliver 251,200 Dapo Abiodun’s votes for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant Hon. (Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu LADO.

ACAF is a group of individuals that comprises the aggrieved councillorship aspirants in the 2021 Local Council Elections in Ogun State.

In a statement on Saturday, *Hon. Ayo Mayami the forum’s Convener, noted that the group is no more in support of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ogun State and their members are now committed to ensuring total victory for LADO in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

You'll recall that Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, appealed to all aspirants who lost in the 2021 APC primary elections held across the 20 local governments of the state and promised the aggrieved aspirants that they would be duly compensated for their show of sportsmanship but which he failed to renege.

The forum had earlier promised Prince Dapo Abiodun over 200,000 votes before defecting to PDP to support LADO.

The Convener said the APC's three tiers of leadership in the State failed to listen to the yearnings and demands of ACAF after all efforts made to express their perturbations.

Mayami said ” Members of ACAF are targeting to meet their respective followers and prospective electorates across the 236 Wards of the 20 Local Governments who possess permanent voters cards PVC to convince them to cast their votes for LADO in the ” Mission to rescue the good people of Ogun State”

"ACAF members will re-invigorate their networks and influence within their various constituencies to galvanise votes for ”Say LADO... food for all, food for all, itura dee” he concluded.
