Tella accompanied by All Progressives Congress, APC chieftains led by Alhaji Bakai Okedara, Party Chairman, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, DG Campaign and secretary Hon. Femi Adiro, Hon Wale Bello, Council Chairman, Hon Adebayo Ayorinde , Engineer Tajudeen Ishola as well as other leaders in the local government.
The chairman of the party, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde appreciated the people of the state for supporting current administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun, assuring that the Governor will continue to remember them for good.
She urged everyone to come out enmass on election day to vote massively for all APC candidates in the State and to also cast their votes for the Presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2023.
In his remarks, Alhaji Bakai Okedara called on party members to genuinely work towards success of the party at polls and also encouraged electorate to vote for candidates of All Progressives Congress(APC) in the 2023 general elections
In his speech the House of Assembly candidate in the local government, Prince Dr Tunde Tella promised his constituents dividends of democracy if elected.
He called on his constituents not to vote for him alone but to vote for all candidates under the All Progressives Congress, APC, especially the Governor of Ogun State.
The former local government transition committee chairman appealed to the residents of the state to get their permanent voter cards so that they can exercise their franchise.
Tella maintained that his desire to contribute his quota to the development of his constituency and uplift the standard of living of the people inspired his decision.
He assured his constituency of purposeful representation, stressing that if he emerge, he would seek solutions to the challenges facing his constituency.
Tella said " I believe I have a stake in this community and the nation, i am an advocate of community and national development.
"So, I believe I can do it, and make the needed positive change among my people. I have to get into the system. I need your support .
"As we go into the general elections, vote for me and other APC candidates because APC is the only party that will not fail you".
