LP, PDP Challenge on Tinubu 's victory will be an "Effort in futility" - Asiwaju for Shettima organization

As the labour Party and the People's Democratic Party's Presidential candidate approach court to contest Bola Tinubu's victory, a group called Asiwaju for Shettima organization has described the challenge as an effort in futility.

The convener  of the organization, Dr Adetunji Oredipe said the victory of Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election showed that the President-elect remains the preferred choice of Nigerians.

Adetunji urged both parties to reconsider their legal actions against the results of the  February 25 presidential elections.

He asserted that from all available statistics and evidences on the ground, the allegations made by the camps of Atiku and Obi that the election had been rigged in favor of the APC candidate were has no solid base but laughable, claiming that , more importantly, because the opposition parties were split, none of them could have triumphed.

Adetunji said although  parties had the legal right to go to court and contest the decision, it is in the interest of greater Nigeria that they should face reality and instead work with our New President to help return Nigeria to the path of economic and social progress and advancement.

According to him" There is no doubt that the elections held on February 25, 2023, were free, fair, and credible—possibly the best elections ever held in Nigeria.

"Tinubu who won the Presidential election wouldn't have lost in Lagos to anyone if this election hadn't been free, fair, and credible."
