AELRDO, FMCA HONOUR OGUN NSCDC BOSS, ACKNOWLEDGE COMMAND'S TURN AROUND IN VALUE, PROFESSIONALISM

The African Emerging Leadership and Research Development Organisation honoured the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,  Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi fspsp, mni, at the Ogun State Command Headquarters, Owu Dekudu Village, Off Kobape Road, Abeokuta. 

According to the Director of Research of the organisation, Dr Rhuefe Khaese, "The award is a painstaking decision by the Board of Directors in recognition of character, patriotism, professionalism and value by the NSCDC in the State as being ably led by the recipient of this award", he clarified.

"The AELRDO deem it fit to acknowledge the contributions of the Corps in the State especially its level of decorum, professionalism and commitment in the elections held recently across the State", he added.

Mr. Khaese also submitted that the organisation cannot but appreciate the indelible marks and unprecedented turn around experienced in the Corps across the country during the time of this current Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD, mni, OFR, and promised to always associate with him and everything he does.
"We all, at AELRDO, have resolved to continually give the Corps the necessary support and required encouragement in every good deed. It is our utmost believe that with concrete motivation and respect for humane dedication, selflessness, commitment, excellence and drive; the officers and men of the Corps will see the essence of value in their job thereby doing more even in the face of daunting challenges", he summarised.

Commandant Ojelabi in his votes of thanks to the representatives of the AELRDO promised to always discharge his duties with utmost respect for human lives and respect for justice and commitment to people's welfare and security which, of course, are the two main purposes of security in all climes. 

In the same vein, the Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Professor Adewale Musa Olomu, also commended the State Commandant for his service delivery and commitment to securing public infrastructure in the State.

In his words, "I am deeply convinced that you will do more than have been done already and we pray God sustains you and grant you the capacity for excellence and bravery amidst the challenges of your duty", he stated.

Professor Olomu also promised to be committed to the welfare and health of the personnel posted to the hospital and that of all other security agencies in the State so they could be able to discharge their onerous task adequately and professionally as well.

The State Commandant dedicated the two awards to the Commandant General noting and promising to always do his best in the interest and service to humanity as entrenched in the Civil Defence Act.

"It is my candid passion and committed interest to be of immense value and support to all. After here, I will be amongst my people and it is what I do here that will spell the kind of reception and ovation or otherwise that one gets. To that end, it is always imperative for me to do well and more in the interest of humanity", he said.

In his parting words with the CMD, the State Commandant clearly stated that the State Command will be ready to give the best form of security and protection to the FMCA alongside other sister security agencies noting that the facility deserves the best from all security agencies in the State so it could continue to offer world class treatment and international best practices in its activities.
