Abeokuta North Legislators lift suspension on council chairman

The legislative arm of Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun state has lifted the suspension order placed on the Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Abdulsalam Ayorinde.

The lawmakers made a decision to reinstate the chairman of the local government who had been suspended by the House on May 10th, 2023, for a period of three months on the grounds of gross misconduct. 

This decision was communicated to the public through a statement released to journalists in Abeokuta.
