Mudashir light up Ogunwaterside LG, expresses dissatisfaction over cables vandalisation

Following the need to give his people a well meaning living conditions amidst the vandalisation of the National grid cables that brought light into the entire Local Government, the Executive Chairman,  Ogun Waterside Local Government, Abigi Hon. Abdul-Lateef Adekunle Mudashir has expressed dissatisfaction over the rates at which cables that brought light into the Local Government were vandalized by robbers and considered the option of providing solar lighting with poles to illuminate the entire council area in a bid to put a stop to an evil deed at night.

The Council boss who went round the portions to install these poles today, expressed his appreciation to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, Ogun State Governor for giving him the opportunity to serve his people noting that for over two years now that the entire high tension wires from the J3/J4 axis of the Ijebu Ode - Benin Expressway in Ogun East Local Government up to the Ogun Waterside Local Government had been carted away by men of the underworld which made it highly impossible for the Governments to reenergize due to paucity of fund.

He stressed  that, that was the main reason he decided to embark on the project of lightening the entire Local Government in phases with the first phase of 120 Solar lights with its poles which is going to be distributed to all the ten (10) wards which is going to be an ongoing project until the entire Local Government is illuminated.

Hon. Mudashir pointed out that the way the Local Government Secretariat is dark in the night is worrisome to him and that 16 solar lights with poles has been high marked for the place in order to make the place more accessable at night and for the night guards to do their jobs efficiently and effectively.

In another development, the Number One Citizen in the Local Government  said, his administration has completed the renovation of the Legislative Chamber to make their sitting more convenient as well as for them to work under a good atmospheric condition.

He added that, since they represents all the 10 wards of the Council area, they must be treated in a better and befitting condition that they are currently enjoying.
