Ed-el- kabr: Ogun Assembly Member Tella, Celebrates with Muslim faithful

Hon. Prince Dr. Babatunde Tella, a member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Abeokuta North State Constituency, joined the Muslim faithful in celebrating Ed-el-Kabir, also known as Eid al-Adha. 

In a statement released by his media aides, Babalola Gafar and Toheeb Osoba, Tella emphasized the significance of the festival and called on Muslims in the state to embrace the spirit of giving.

Tella urged  Muslims to take inspiration from the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his unwavering faith, perseverance, and obedience.

 He reminded them of the importance of sharing their blessings with the less privileged during this festive season.

Considering the current challenges faced by the country, Tella called on all adherents of the Islamic religion to utilize this occasion to offer prayers for Nigeria, with a particular focus on security and the economy. 

He emphasized that Ed-el-Kabir symbolizes Allah's blessings and love for humanity, urging  Muslim brothers and sisters to wholeheartedly engage in this important act of worship.

Tella encouraged Muslims to actively promote peace and unity throughout the country, as these values are vital for national growth and development. 

He implored the Muslim community in the state to embrace the lessons and virtues of sacrifice, forgiveness, and love for one another.
