Bukola Olopade Fashina Olajide
The CEO of Olageospatial Global Investment Company (OGIC), Olajide Fashina has congratulated the former commissioner for sports in Ogun State Hon. Bukola Olopade on his recent appointment as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the highly anticipated 2024 National Sports Festival (NSF) in Ogun State.
The announcement was made by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, during the unveiling of the 16-man LOC in Abeokuta, the state capital, on Tuesday.
Fashina added that the appointment of Hon. Bukola Olopade, reflects the state government's commitment in ensuring a successful and world-class event.
He said "As the chairman of the LOC, Olopade will bring his vast experience and expertise in sports administration to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the 2024 NSF."
The OGIC boss praised the state government for selecting a competent and accomplished individual to spearhead the organization of the 2024 NSF.
"Hon. Bukola Olopade's proven track record in sports administration and his unwavering commitment to the development of sports in Ogun State make him an excellent choice for this crucial role.
"I have full confidence in his ability to lead the LOC and deliver an outstanding National Sports Festival."
The CEO further emphasized that hosting the 2024 NSF in Ogun State would not only showcase the state's sporting prowess but also create opportunities for economic growth, tourism, and youth empowerment.
"The event will leverage the state's rich sporting culture and the support of capable hands and sponsors to create a memorable festival that will leave a lasting legacy."
