In an official statement issued by his Media Aide, Mr. Gafar Babalola, and Mr Osoba Olajide on Wednesday, Hon. Dr. Tella emphasized the importance of emulating the life and virtues of Prophet Muhammad, (SAW) underscoring the central role of peace in societal development.
According to him"The Prophet’s messages were always centered on peace, truthfulness, and faithfulness.
"I call on citizens of the State, from all walks of life, to strive and follow the exemplary values displayed during his lifetime."
He further highlighted the need for Muslims to embrace the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which advocate love, tolerance, unity, and peaceful co-existence.
"I urge the Muslim faithful to continue demonstrating the virtuous teachings of the Holy Prophet to foster the peace and unity essential for the growth and development of our State and our Nation as a whole.
Hon. Dr. Tella also encouraged members of the public, particularly Muslims, to seize this opportunity to strengthen their bonds of love and work collectively to create a harmonious society, steering clear of any actions that might jeopardize the unity and stability of the State.
