Ogun youth demands justice for Mohbad

Youths in their hundreds staged a peaceful demonstration in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital on Tuesday,  clamouring for justice over the mysterious death of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The youths, all in black T-shirts began the rally from Panseke area and went through Oke-Ilwo and other locations at the capital with placards bearing various inscription such as: 'Justice for Mohbad", "Government Must Arrest Naira Marley and Sam Larry" amongst other messages .
It was  reported last Tuesday that Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley. died at the age of 27.

The cause of Mohbad's death has been a subject of controversy since the tragic incident. 
A couple of names had allegedly been mentioned relating to the death of the Ikorodu born Mohbad. Among whom are his estranged record label lead, Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marly and a music promoter, Samson Balogun, popular as Sam Larry.

Amidst the rising controversy, the duo of Naira Marley and Sam Larry have fled the country.
The Lagos State Police Command has however inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to probe the death of the 27-year-old singer.

The protesting youths while speaking to newsmen during the demonstration insisted that the Nigeria Police must bring the duo of Naira Marley and Sam Larry to book. 
They also demanded that other persons mentioned in the death of the singer be duly invited for questioning.

One of the protesters, Ayo Micheal said "We are in pain!! Mohbad must not die in vain. We want the government to arrest Naira Marley and Sam Larry. Let them fish them out from their hiding places".  


Also, Mustura Abiola " That boy had a promising future but Naira Marley Killed him. Nobody can deny that. Sam Larry and all the Marlian must be arrested. Justice must be held for Mohbad. He was in pain and he died in that pain. Naira Marley and Sam Larry tormented him till he died"

They however dared Naira Marley and Sam Larry to come out of their hiding and face the Nigerian youths.
