Sholebo Emerges National President of MOUN

Alhaji Rasak Shotayo, popularly known as Sholebo has been elected as the National President of Motorcycles Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN).

Sholebo emerged the National President of MOUN after the national congress of union, held in Abuja and attended by all the 36 States and zonal Chairmen of MOUN.

Sholebo, until his new appointment is the Ogun State Chairman of Ogun State Riders and Owners of Motorcycle Organization (ROMO).

Addressing journalists shortly after his election, Sholebo thanked the national body of the union for finding him worthy to elect him as their new national leader.

Sholebo also appreciated members of ROMO in the State for the support given to him and his exco over the years.

Sholebo said, with his over 20 years experience in the motorcycle business, he is determined to change the fortunes of the union for the better.

According to him, his performance and track record in the industry in SouthWest had positioned him for his new leadership role.

"This is another great achievement for me and this is a great task before me and I assured members of the union across the country that I will not let them down.

"With the support of all other members, I'm going to do my best to ensure that we reposition the union and make it the bride of the transport industry", Sholebo said.

He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment towards repositioning the country.

Sholebo also hailed Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for providing a conducive atmosphere for transport unions to thrive.
