Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has bagged a new Award of Excellence, which was presented to him in his office on Wednesday 6th December,2023 by the Iyaolojas and Babaolojas in Obafemi Owode Council Area.
Speaking at the presentation, Council Boss reiterates his administration's commitment in utilizing all the means available in developing markets to an enviable standard.
He stressed that his mother was a renowned trader and the experience gathered has inspired him to give back to the system that fed him while he was young.
He further assured the delegations of a robust dividends of democracy, as it is recorded in some Markets with construction of shopping mulls, lock up shops and open stalls, so also he shall continue to improve on it at all other markets yet to be touched before the end of his administration.
Earlier, Chief Mrs. Ogunleye Keji Ganiat, Iyaloja Asese market, who is also the coordinator of Iyaloja and Babaloja in Obafemi Owode Local Government gave reasons for Awarding the council boss, as it is a known fact and the testimony is visible for everyone to see the turnaround happenings across markets and we have come to identify with him for doing well.
She appreciated the government's for their involvement in the distribution of Subsidy Removal Palliatives has their members benefited alot and prayed for success in all his endeavor.
Chief Mrs. Ikumapayi Fausat, Iyaloja Ibafo market and Leader of Iyaloja and Babaloja, Obafemi Owode Local Government also appreciates the magnanimity of the council boss in making sure the requests and the interest of women are not relegated.
Hon. Kayode Dipeolu, Secretary to Local Government in his votes of thanks re-echoed the readiness and the plans of government in building more shops at every markets within the council with aim of boosting the business of the traders and also to provide a conducive environment for business to thrive, while appealed to all traders to pay their levies regularly.
