The event commenced with an Annual General Meeting, during which Barrister Olusegun Olaotan urged members to deepen their commitment to alma mater, highlighting the numerous benefits associated with such dedication.
In his welcome address, Mr. Wole Adeosun, FCIA, Global President of Area Community High School Old Students Association (ACHSO), Owode, Ogun State, expressed concern about the overcrowding of public secondary schools in the state.
Adeosun emphasized the need for support, both locally and internationally, for the school.
He acknowledged the pioneering efforts of Senior Prefect Boy Adele Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro KLM, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of ACHSO, and Hon. Abiodun Ishaq Akinlade, Member of the House of Representatives, for their instrumental contributions to the school's projects
Adeosun highlighted that 90 percent of the school's infrastructure was built by the Old Students Association, applauding Senator Adeola Olamilekan for his commendable role in the ongoing construction of a multi-story classroom building.
He called on the government to enhance the standard of education by investing more in the sector, especially in infrastructure.
