Professor Oyekunle stated that the NOUN programme is flexible, affordable and accessible to everyone including the personnel of the NSCDC.
He explained further that as against conventional universities where studentship are not transferable when officers and men go on transfers the NOUN programme makes it easier wherein the students can transfer their programmes to their new place of assignments without any hitch.
The State Commandant appreciated the director, NOUN's Abeokuta Study Centre for the timely visit while promising to ensure interested officers and men get enrolled in their programme especially those with secondary school qualifications amongst others.
The State Commandant also informed the director that a particular forum will be organized for the Open University to come and relate with a larger house towards bringing the programmes to the knowledge of the officers and men across our 74 formations in the State.
