Unjust Levy: Mowe Market Traders Commends Ogun Govt for Swift Action

In response to the unjust levy affecting Mowe Market traders, the Babalola of the market Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle has commended Governor Abiodun of Ogun State, as well as the local government authorities in Obafemi Owode and all stakeholders involved.

He disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday.

 He appreciated the Governor for the swift and decisive action taken to address the unjust burden imposed by unscrupulous individuals exploiting the guise of governmental authority.

"The recent outcry from our traders prompted a plea to the state government for urgent intervention regarding the exorbitant levy imposed. We are pleased that our concerns were heard and swiftly acted upon, with the government rightly denouncing the levy as illegal. On behalf of all traders, we express our gratitude to Governor Abiodun and the relevant authorities for their proactive approach in resolving this matter.
