According to recent updates shared by Instagram blogger Tosin Silverdam, Mr Ibu breathed his last in the early hours of today at Evercare Hospital in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.
At 62 years old, Mr Ibu battled health challenges, including the amputation of his leg following seven surgeries.
Another report indicates that Mr Ibu underwent additional surgery on the same leg, which greatly affected his ability to communicate.
The loss of Mr Ibu comes just a day after the untimely passing of popular Yoruba actor Sisi Quadri, who was 44 years old
