Olowu football competition: OGIC to Support 10 Participant's Education

In a bid to promote both education and sports development, Olageospatial Global Investment Company (OGIC) has announced its intention to partner with the Olowu of Owu, Oba Matemilola, in supporting youths participating in a football competition set to commence on May 12, 2024.

Speaking with News Channel on Friday, the CEO of OGIC, Fashina Olajide, expressed admiration for the initiative by Oba Saka Matemilola, emphasizing the significance of grassroots competitions in identifying and nurturing talent. 
Olajide further highlighted his commitment to contribute to the legacy of the Olowu of Owu by providing assistance to deserving young participants.


OGIC's proposed assistance includes granting financial support to ten students from both public and affordable private schools. 

Olajide stated that the support will cover  one year of school fees for the selected individuals, offering relief to their parents and encouraging broader participation in such community events.
His words " If we can have 10 of them that we know that they're in public schools and also affordable private school , OGIC is willing to be of assistance help them for at least a year school fees in contribution to the legacy of our kabiyesi and to football competition .

"By so doing, the parents can also have a little relief and other parents can also be encouraged to always release their children to participate in this kind of competition ."
