The singer took to Instagram to share a sweet father-daughter moment as they returned from a shopping spree. The video showcased a glimpse into their bond, with Hailey looking excited about their haul. Davido playfully teased his daughter about her shopping prowess, adding a touch of humor to the adorable interaction.
While the video painted a picture of pure joy and fatherly love, it also comes amid ongoing legal battles for custody of his first daughter, Imade. Davido recently filed for joint custody of Imade with her mother, Sophia Momodu, in the Lagos State High Court. Although the case is still ongoing, the singer expressed his unwavering love for both daughters, emphasizing that his desire for joint custody is driven by his wish to be an active part of their lives.
He requested the court to grant joint custody of their nine-year-old daughter Imade, whom he had with Sophia Momodu. After a back-and-forth between the two, Davido hinted at leaving his first child in the custody of her mother.
He said, “She will grow up to see I fought for her. As for now, you can have her. P.S: She won’t be a child forever! Your father loves you.”"
