In a decisive move to combat noise and air pollution, the Lagos State Government has closed several businesses in the Ikorodu area. This action follows a comprehensive enforcement operation targeting key areas such as Agric, Ibeshe, and Ikorodu.

Tokunbo Wahab, Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, announced the closures on X.com, stating that despite prior warnings, numerous establishments continued to violate the directives of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA). The affected businesses include hotels, bars, a gas filling station, poultry farms, and lounges.
