The 26-year-old left-footed centre-back has impressed during his two seasons in Belgium, following an initial loan from Hertha Berlin, now competing in the German Bundesliga's second division.

Italian Serie A side Monza is keen on acquiring Torunarigha, but they face stiff competition from two London-based clubs, West Ham United and Crystal Palace. Leeds United also showed interest, but their failure to secure promotion to the Premier League dashed their hopes of signing the defender.

According to The West Ham Way, the Hammers are particularly eager to strengthen their central defense this summer. Manager Julen Lopetegui aims to upgrade either Kurt Zouma or Nayef Aguerd, with the latter likely to depart, attracting interest from clubs like Rennes and Atletico Madrid.

Should Aguerd leave, Torunarigha would be a direct replacement, fitting perfectly alongside Kurt Zouma in West Ham’s defense. Known for his ball-playing abilities, Torunarigha's style aligns with the preferences of the new West Ham manager.

KAA Gent and Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha is attracting significant interest from several European clubs.

Standing at 1.96 meters, Torunarigha’s contract with Gent expires next summer. Reports suggest that Gent is willing to let the Nigerian defender go for a fee of around €5 million.
