Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Zion, has confessed that his relationship with fellow contestant Chinwe is more about convenience than true connection.
In a candid conversation with fellow housemate Fairme on Thursday, Zion revealed that Chinwe isn’t his usual type, but he’s with her because of the advantages she brings into his life.
“She’s actually a very mature woman,” Zion said, describing Chinwe’s nurturing nature. “She’s the firstborn and takes care of her siblings. Her mother passed away, and her father has remarried.”
Zion shared that Chinwe's caring demeanor stands in stark contrast to his past experiences with women who fit his ideal "spec."
“Normally, I could be with a girl, and she wouldn’t even know or care what I do for a living,” Zion explained. “But Chinwe is different. She prays for me, sends me prayer points, and she’s incredibly supportive.”
He went on to describe how Chinwe goes above and beyond to make him feel at home whenever he visits.
“When I go to her house, she cooks amazing meals, enough to make me want to stay the night even though I usually avoid spending the night at a girl’s place,” he admitted. “She even has a cook who comes over sometimes to help out.”
Zion acknowledged that while Chinwe may not fit his typical preferences, her character and how she treats him have made a significant impact.
“I’ve been with women who fit my spec, but they never treated me like this,” he said, adding that the experience has changed his perspective.
Fairme agreed, emphasizing that how a woman treats a man is often more important than just looks.
Zion then reflected on his past relationships with Gen Z women, noting that they often come with more stress. “Some of them have sense, but I’ve been with ones who don’t. It’s just more work.”
Interestingly, Chinwe had earlier hinted during a disagreement that she was the one who “sponsored” Zion to be on the show.
