Nigerian music sensation, Portable, has taken to social media to share his harrowing experience after being attacked and robbed by hoodlums during an event in Iju Ishaga.
Portable recounted that he and his crew were in the middle of a performance when a group of men stormed the venue, causing chaos and assaulting them. The attackers allegedly made off with Portable’s debit card, two iPhones belonging to a friend, and other valuables. In a distressing turn of events, Portable revealed that some of his crew members are still unaccounted for following the attack.
A video shared by Portable shows him being helped onto a couch, visibly shaken after the ordeal. The musician also expressed his frustration, accusing the assailants—whom he referred to as "Egbon adugbo"—of being ungrateful and malicious, despite his efforts to show them kindness and generosity.
Portable has called on his associates to help recover the stolen items and locate his missing crew members. The incident has sparked widespread concern among his fans and within the music industry, underscoring the urgent need for enhanced security measures at public events.
