Speaking to newsmen after he event Amb. Whyte commended the Commissioner of Women Affairs, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, for her efforts in promoting and supporting youth creativity, and urged Governor Abiodun to continue encouraging and providing opportunities for youths to express their creativity.
Whyte added that the presence of renowned cinematographer, filmmaker, and photographer Tunde Kelani as a panelist added immense value to the event.
He said the panel session was a treasure trove of knowledge, allowing attendees to delve into the symbolism, processes, and importance of Adire-making.
"It was a truly enriching experience, one that not only educated but also inspired a sense of pride in our cultural roots" he said.
