The party chairman disclosed this during a meeting with the ward chairmen, councillorship and chairmanship candidate held at the Party Secretariat Abeokuta, on Wednesday.
She emphasized the importance of consistent engagement at the grassroots level to ensure a
successful outcome for the party.
The Party Chairman assured party members of APC's readiness to win the local government election.
She noted that while other political parties are preparing, the APC is poised to take the lead.
"We are going to vote and deliver for the APC," she confidently stated, adding that the party has selected Hon. Lanre Sodipo as its candidate for the council chairman position.
The APC Chairman expressed strong optimism about the party's chances in the upcoming polls.
"I don't fail when it comes to elections," she said, reiterating her commitment to ensure Party victory.
She urged all party members to work diligently towards the goal, assuring them that their hard work would be rewarded.
However, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi-Akintunde acknowledged that there are still pockets of discontent among some members in various wards.
She tasked the ward chairmen with the responsibility of ensuring peace and resolving internal conflicts.
"If there are any difficulties in resolving these issues, let me know so that we can make amendments," she advised.
She further instructed the ward leaders to call all contestants, local executives, and leaders to a meeting, where reconciliation efforts should be made to bring aggrieved members back into the fold.
"We must beg them to ensure unity within the party," she said, stressing the need for collective efforts to win the election.
Hon. Faidat assured party members that those who remain loyal to the APC and avoid anti-party activities will be supported and compensated.
She promised to make recommendations for such members, indicating that loyalty would be rewarded in the long run.
She also emphasized that no one within the party should see themselves as losers, regardless of the outcome of the primaries. "None of us is a loser; we are all winners," she said.
Alhaja Faidat Sarumi-Akintunde also called on the ward chairmen to set up campaign committees, ensuring that the councillorship candidates are involved in the process.She revealed that a campaign committee for the entire local government would be announced soon.
