Former BBNaija star and actress, Vee, recently revealed that she has never experienced true love. In a candid conversation on the ‘Dear Ife’ podcast, Vee shared that while she has loved someone before, she has yet to fully trust and open herself up to the vulnerability required to fall deeply in love.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been in love,” Vee admitted. “To really enjoy love, you need to be completely open and trust someone fully, and I haven’t been able to do that yet. I’ve loved, but I don’t think I’ve ever been blindly in love.”
Vee also touched on her boundaries in relationships, stating that while she can overlook certain red flags, dishonesty is something she cannot tolerate.
“I tend to notice red flags, and sometimes I’ll just tuck them away, but I’m aware of them. However, lying is one thing I can’t ignore—it’s a deal-breaker for me,” she explained.
The reality star went on to recount a personal experience where a stranger sent her screenshots claiming to have been involved with her partner. When Vee confronted her partner, his inconsistent explanations made her question his honesty.
“I once received messages from a random account claiming they’d been sending explicit pictures to my partner, and he had even liked some of them. When I confronted him, his excuses didn’t make sense. That’s when I knew lies were being told because you can always tell when someone isn’t being truthful,” she concluded.
