Kwankwaso: APC Has Ruined Nigeria, PDP is Dying-OXYGIST

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the 2023 Presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has criticized the current administration, stating that the policies of President Bola Tinubu have worsened poverty and hunger in Nigeria. He also pointed out that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is struggling to address the nation’s security issues.

Speaking at the 7th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the NNPP in Abuja, Kwankwaso didn’t hold back, describing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a "dead party" due to its internal crisis and rapidly declining influence, while praising the growth of the NNPP.

“Our party is thriving, and we are pleased with the progress we’ve made,” Kwankwaso remarked. He emphasized that the NNPP is the only party capable of offering real leadership that can address Nigeria’s challenges and bring relief to the people.

Reflecting on the PDP’s struggles, Kwankwaso recalled a visit to Katsina where he predicted the party's downfall. “At the time, many didn’t understand, but now they can see the PDP is falling apart,” he said. He also criticized the APC, accusing its leadership of being disconnected from the harsh realities Nigerians are facing, particularly with regard to security, poverty, and hunger.

Kwankwaso added, “Both the APC and PDP are in decline, while the NNPP is growing stronger. We thank Almighty God for this progress.”

Buba Galadima, Chairman of the NNPP’s Board of Trustees, echoed these sentiments, stating that while other parties falter, the NNPP is rapidly gaining momentum. He highlighted the party’s focus on discipline and leadership, noting that no other party can match their quality of governance.

National Chairman Dr. Ajuji Ahmed also expressed satisfaction with the NNPP's membership growth, particularly with the introduction of new membership cards. He encouraged members to obtain the new cards, noting that the party made tough but necessary decisions, including dissolving executive committees in some states and appointing caretaker committees to strengthen the party.

With the NNPP on the rise, Kwankwaso is optimistic that the party will provide the leadership Nigeria needs in these challenging times.
