In a laudable gesture, the Ogun Youth Assembly has congratulated Hon. (Chief) Bukola Olawale Olopade, Osi Asoju Ọba of Ẹgbaland and Jagunmolu of Gbagura, following his recent appointment as the Director-General of the National Sports Commission by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was disclosed in a congratulatory letter signed by the Chairman of the Assembly, Ambassador Habeeb Whyte on Tuesday.
Ambassador Whyte described Chief Olopade’s appointment as a testament to his unwavering commitment, visionary leadership, and outstanding contributions to the development of sports and youth empowerment in Nigeria.

He expressed confidence in Chief Olopade’s ability to excel in his new role, noting his proven track record in leadership and innovation.
The Youth Assembly Chairman emphasized that his leadership would usher in a new era for the National Sports Commission, promising unprecedented growth and unity for Nigerian sports.
