PDP Chairmanship candidate promises improved living standards in Abeokuta South

The people of Abeokuta South Local Government has been promised an improved living standard with major focus on agriculture, health, education, youth development, women empowerment and job creation among other people oriented programmes. 

The Chairmanship Candidate of the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP in the forthcoming local government polls, Hon. Kamaar Sodipo made this promise while featuring on a Yoruba interview Programme, Oju Abe on Splash FM on Wednesday. 

He said, the PDP would bring back the good old better days, as the political party had once operated the best local government administration in the State. 

Hon. Kamaar Sodipo, who observed that the ruling party is making citizens to go through hardship and sufferings said, "this was intentional to weaken citizens and reduce their strength".
He said, local government administration was created to be closer to the people to enhance development, but today the various councils have been rendered useless by the ruling party. 

The PDP chairmanship candidate alleged that many lands belonging to Abeokuta South local Government council have been sold.

The PDP flagbearer focuses on revitalizing the local government administration to enhance development and bring prosperity to the people. 

With the local government polls approaching, his promises have sparked hope among the people of Abeokuta South, who are eager for positive change, while his commitment to people-oriented programs may just be the catalyst for a brighter future.
