Former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has condoled the Muslim Ummah on the death of notable preacher and Oniwasi Agbaye, Sheikh Muiydeen Bello
Sheikh Bello died at the age of 84 on Friday.
In his condolence message, Senator Amosun noted that Sheikh Bello lived a fulfilled and impactful life.
"As a religious leader, Sheikh Bello was always available to provide counsel to people in power and those in need. He was pious and stoic in his lifestyle. He was frank, honest, and ever committed to such laudable values of peace, honesty, integrity, and co-existence of people of different religious persuasions.
“As a cleric, his preaching was very impactful, not only in South West Nigeria but also in the northern part of the country, where he established himself as a religious leader of note.”
Amosun prayed that the Almighty Allah would grant him Aljannah Firdaus and give the notable family that he left behind the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
