The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State on Inter-Ethnic Affairs, Hadi Sani, has been recognized with the prestigious Peace Ambassador Award by the Sabo Stayte community for the second consecutive year.
You'll recalled that he bagged the award at last year Sabo Stayte end of the year unity program.
The award is in acknowledgment of his contributions in promoting peace and unity among diverse ethnic groups in the region.
The ceremony was held in Abeokuta witnessed the presence of prominent community leaders, government officials, and residents.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Sabo Police Division, Ahamed Yakubu, presented the award to Hadi Sani.
Accepting the award, Hadi Sani expressed profound gratitude to the organizers of the event and commended their efforts in promoting unity within the Sabo community.
He said it is quite difficult to keep your local relevance while climbing the larder of greatness.
He added that he is glad his childhood community remain firm with him acknowledging his contribution towards Sabo stayte development and Ogun State at large.
“I want to thank the organizers of this wonderful occasion. I’m happy that we are having this unity program again. It’s never too much to support, and we will continue to support them,” he said.
